I understand there are some people who think in England Gonçalo Amaral is a good cop and a sincere and honest man. If so, then I want everyone to know this.
Sometime in 2009, Amaral embarked on a torrid relationship to subject a young mother, married Anne Bras. A very attractive woman, she admits that she fell in love with her so charming Amaral and good to talk, and believed that at first he was very hurt by McCann. However, it did not take long to realize the truth about the kind of man he really was, and she tried to end the relationship. Unfortunately, however, her husband, Jose, who was injured Amaral had moved into position in the marriage bed, avenged Amaral, beginning an affair with Amaral's wife, Sofia. A completely sad and complicated thing, from which no party can be proud, so I think we can all agree.
But what concerns here is the reaction Amaral of being rejected by his former lover, Anna. Being a man used to getting his own way, he will not accept. Enraged, Amaral began a campaign of intimidation against the family, calling them constantly, and instilling in them a level of fear for their safety and, in particular the safety of her daughter in two years. So great was their concern, wrote to the Portuguese Attorney General on two separate times, asking for his help and protection.
Finally, it was suggested to install a recording device to your phone in order to obtain the title terrorisation Amaral, threats and violence. One of these recordings has been released on the Internet, and is very alarming.
Once launched, on a forum a leading friend of Amaral, Joana Morais immediately made a terrible commotion, saying the tape was recorded illegally, and threatened all kinds of legal repercussions, if the administrator forum does not remove it. Since it is relatively easy to wind up a forum with a barrage of complaints of any kind, not just legal problems, the administrator, for your own peace of mind, moved the information to your blog instead, on which they have their own control. But the most revealing about protests Morais, however, was not that she complained bitterly about the illegality of the method of obtaining the record, but she never once tried to deny that the conversation itself was indeed true. That alone says a lot. Furthermore, it was then proved that once again, not the first time, Morais was clearly lying on behalf of Amaral, and that the recording was, in fact, quite honestly obtained, in accordance with our Article 34 Portuguese Penal Code, which states:

An act is not illegal when committed as a means to avert a present danger that threatens legally protected interests of the agent or third party, if the following conditions are verified:
a) The danger should not have been voluntarily created by the agent, except in case of protecting the interests of third person;
b) There is a marked superiority of the interest to be safeguarded against the interest sacrificed, and
c) It is reasonable to require the victim to the sacrifice of interest, considering the nature or value of the interest threatened.
So what was inside this record that Morais has caused such heartbeats?
The call begins with the touch, it Amaral call the husband of Ana. Amaral threat this man several times, there are also a lot of very sexually explicit language, this is mostly from Amaral, in this conversation he referred to the "ears" of a sexually explicit manner.
As mentioned earlier this is not the first time that Amaral has been calling this man or his wife, he did this several times before, every time you threaten and insult Anna Talking is very derogatory, not only for Ana Brás, but is demeaning to women in general.
The following is a very interesting return about money and houses. Ana and her husband own house.
Jose: I’ve my own house, and the house were you live is not yours but of your wife's, it is on your wife's name.
Amaral: The house IS mine, it is on my wife's name, but it was bought with MY money!
A return at an interesting point during the conference of Jose, however, involves Amaral's wife Sofia, saying that she only gets to Amaral, for financial reasons. This leads me to ask, what will happen when Amaral most certainly lose the defamation case to arrive, and all the blood money of his book is given, most rightly, the McCanns? How long, then, we wonder, Sofia is true to her man? But I digress.

But now things are starting to take a much more sinister direction. Amaral begins to make threats against Jose, including specific threats to his life. He begins with the threat of frame it.
Amaral. "I will put you down by kicking you and without needing to use my hands". In other words I can ‘arrange’ something, without getting my own hands dirty.
Amaral "Eu faço-te a folha quando eu quiser", which means, in English, "I sign your papers when I wish". In Portugal, "fazer a folha" means to harm someone through illegal methods. An example of "fazer a folha" is to plant false evidence, for example, drugs in someone's car to send the victim to jail.
Then comes the death threats.
Amaral "I will shoot you on the middle of your eyes". “I will shoot you with one of my most golden bullets. Do you know what is like to be shot in the middle of your eyes?”
This death threat, coming from a former police officer, trained in firearms, is one touch of extremely serious and alarming events. This is the main reason why Ana and her husband, who this time had seriously regretted their indiscretions to each other, and wanted nothing more than to be left alone to rebuild their relationship and marriage Amaral reported to the PJ and local police (they have a number of incidents and evidence) and also by Ana and Jose wrote twice to the Portuguese Attorney General, asking him for help and protection. They above all, fear that something bad will happen to her daughter, she will be kidnapped, or worse, and that would be made to look like they had been responsible for it. Although there can not find any specific threat of Amaral that he would actually do such a thing in this special invitation, there is a reference by Jose that Amaral that harmed a child.

Which child? I assume that this is perhaps a reference to an earlier telephone conversation. But I know that Amaral conspicuously failed in its duty to help two other families who have suffered the tragic loss of a child through kidnapping: the Cipriano and McCann. Both cases received extensive publicity here, so it is reasonable to assume Jose knew them, and was referring to Joana and Madeleine whatever he deduced that Amaral harmed a child. But something is still nagging at me.
I only have access to this unique recording. But the phrase "did not respect my daughter," along with "fazer a folha" still leaves me with a particularly deep feeling of unease. Amaral could have actually made that threat, to a helpless little girl two years old disappear, and leave him looking like the parents were to blame? Let's think about it. Two cases, two girls kidnapped. No body ever found, no evidence, no proof. A mother in jail, for a crime few in Portugal trust, the other suffering an apparently well aimed smear campaign from within the PJ. One common fact. Amaral. I can not answer that question.
But I can tell you this. Amaral is a disgrace to his profession and an embarrassment to his country.
